The studio set for the RTÉ Sports Awards 2009 was designed by Marcella Power for an awards evening that took place in RTÉ studios.

The set comprised of a circular metal and polycarbonate ros and modular ros / stage sections that were carpeted. Behind the circular ros was a curved wall of polycarbonate with printed voilles. This was internally lit with LEDs. An entrance feature was produced using stage flats.
