53 degrees is a design and build company specialising in the design and build of backdrops and sets for TV. We supply and install stages and rostrums (ros).

Although most of the TV sets or studio sets we build are for RTE but we also have a long list of production companies that we work with such as Tyrone Productions, Green Inc. and Sideline TV.

We have built sets for the RTE Late Late Show, Primetime, The RTE News, Podge and Rodge, The Lotto, Winning Streak and The Den.

To complement the Studio backdrop and TV set side of our business we also supply and install stages and rostrums for events or directly into studio. We have stages both for sale and to hire in a variety of sizes and with appropriate accessories. No stage is finished without a lectern. At 53 degrees we have a range of lecterns for hire or for purchase. Finally, TV and events backdrop often require specialist materials, such as laconite, Rosco screen or sharks tooth gauze; please feel free to contact us if you need any of these materials or if you have an enquiry regarding TV or Set Props.
